The Stem Cell Club is an initiative run by local researchers involved in stem cell research. The primary objective of the Stem Cell Club is to provide a platform for people interested in stem cell topics to interact, discuss and build collaborations. To support this objective, the Stem Cell Club is running the Stem Cell Research Singapore webpage in which profiles of researchers in Singapore are portrayed and local events with relevance to stem cells are announced to the community. Furthermore, the Stem Cell Club is organizing and coordinating the monthly Stem Cell Club Meeting in which local as well as international speakers present their scientific work to the community. The scientific session is normally followed by a social gathering involving wine and cheese to stimulate further discussions. More than 30 of these very well-received and attended Stem Cell Club meetings have been held so far.
